Seafarers Earn 3-2 Win Versus Stars
Starting pitcher Griff Murphy gave the Lisbon Seafarers a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Los Angeles Stars, 3-2, at Seafarers Stadium. The loss puts Los Angeles at 1-5.

Dusty Cooper was the walk-off hero for Lisbon. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Seafarers left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Los Angeles manager Dan Danielson. "We just didn't cash in."
