Habichev Stops Bucharest
|
Pavlov Habichev was in a mood to talk following the Leningrad Pelicans contest against the Bucharest Bucks, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Bucks, 2-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Habichev said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Bucharest on a 3-hitter, allowing no walks and racking up 3 strikeouts.
