Bucharest Befuddled by Wagner in 10-0 Loss
|
Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Bucharest Bucks as starter Reinhold Wagner shut them out, 10-0, at Pelicans Park. The Warsaw pitcher struck out 6 and walked 0 while allowing 4 hits.
"Wagner was good but he wasn't flawless," Bucharest manager said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Warsaw, but this is on us."
On the season, Wagner has a 6-4 record with a 3.89 ERA.
