Bilek Leads Kyiv to 5-0 Win Over Moscow
Kyiv Mules starter Zigmund Bilek really did a number on the Moscow Mammoths, shutting them out, 5-0, on 4 hits in a complete game victory. He issued no walks and had 9 strikeouts.

"We didn't have good at-bats," said Moscow manager . "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Bilek."

For the year, Bilek has compiled a 5-3 record with a 1.35 ERA.
