The Tokyo 99ers defeated the Io Isotopes, 11-5, at Isotope Arena. Leading the charge for Tokyo was first baseman Joan Kesi. He went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Tokyo pitcher Henry Fisher earned the win, hiking his record to 7-5. Lienhart Miller suffered the loss. With the win over Io, the 99ers improved to 28-33.

Tokyo used the hitting of Napana Kakelaka to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the 99ers on top, 4-0. For the game, Kakelaka had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Kakelaka told the Tokyo Observer. "It's as simple as that."
