Wouters Hits in 2 Consecutive Games Friday, June 12th , 1953 Franklin Wouters ran his hitting streak to 2 straight games at Team Grounds, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Norden Wolves dropped the game, 7-5, to the Norderney Hitmen. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Wouters said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Franklin Wouters walked in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Benno van den Berg in the 8th.
