Wrap up for the fourth week of TOBA Thursday, June 3rd , 1954 Sicily and Iceland's big trade, bringing all-star Tartaglia to the Italian island goes through, Iceland gaining many prospects and young players in addition to first round pick. Both clubs earned a 4-2 record for the week after this trade. New York seriously slowed their charge towards the playoffs with a 1-5 (14-10) result. Providence is still feeling the effects of Quentin Baker's horrible performances but push through to have a decent 4-2 (10-14) week. Mike O'Shea of the Skyliners has gotten the Batter of the month honor while Lisbon's Eric Snow grabbed the player of the week honor for this week. Paris youngster Jan Danielsson has gotten this month's rookie of the month award and Jessy Kok has gotten pitcher of the month for his host of great performances. |
