Rogers Shuts Out Den Helder, 8-0 Tuesday, May 20th , 1958 Josh Rogers was dynamite at Team Field, blowing away the Den Helder Farmers in a shutout victory. The Leeuwarden Bombers starter had everything working as he held the Farmers to 6 hits in the 8-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Den Helder skipper . "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Rogers finished the game with 6 strikeouts and 1 walk. |
