Paris Blanked by Walker, 10-0
Monday, May 19th , 1952
Chris Walker was in a mood to talk following the Los Angeles Stars contest against the Paris Lions, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Lions, 10-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Walker said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Paris on a 1-hitter, allowing 2 walks and racking up 3 strikeouts.
