Mobile B Draws Blanks Against Dedrick Monday, June 24th , 1957 Sicily B Wallabys starter Robby Dedrick really did a number on the Mobile B Red Wings, shutting them out, 6-0, on 6 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 4 walks and had 8 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Mobile B manager . "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Dedrick." |
