Providence B Sabres pitcher Danny Bennett really got it done at Sabres Park in a 7-0 shutout victory over the New York B Pride, shutting them down on 10 hits.
"It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Bennett said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them."
The 27-year-old issued 1 walk and had 12 strikeouts in the Sabres win.
Bennett has made 15 starts this season, posting 6 wins and 5 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .295 against him and he has 96 strikeouts in 113.2 innings with a 4.43 ERA.
