Iceland B Snaps Lindeman Streak at 20 Tuesday, July 26th , 1955 Nick Lindeman's 20-game hitting streak was snapped at Volcanoes Park. The 28-year-old New York B Pride second baseman failed to get a hit in 2 at-bats in the game against the Iceland B Volcanoes, but New York B came out the winner, 10-2. "I don't think the streak was ever a big deal to Nick," Pride manager said after the game. "He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames." Currently Lindeman is hitting .345 and has collected 2 home runs, 15 RBIs and scored 24 times, while playing in 32 games. |
