The 28-year-old was a dominant performer all year for Lisbon and his efforts have been rewarded with the TOBA Class B Reliever of the Year Award for 1955.
The bullpen ace had an impressive 3.60 ERA this season, with 7 saves in 31 relief appearances. He fanned 40 batters in 50 innings and sported a record of 5 wins and 5 losses.
