TCB Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award Sunday, August 14th , 1955 The manager of the Lisbon Maples said he always had confidence handing the ball to Frank Hadfield out of the bullpen. The 28-year-old was a dominant performer all year for Lisbon and his efforts have been rewarded with the TOBA Class B Reliever of the Year Award for 1955. The bullpen ace had an impressive 3.60 ERA this season, with 7 saves in 31 relief appearances. He fanned 40 batters in 50 innings and sported a record of 5 wins and 5 losses.
