It was a parade of hits for Sander Punter of the Lisbon Maples at Sabres Park.

Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Punter finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Maples to a win, 12-6.

"Punter was really good and we were really bad," groaned Sabres manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."

Sander Punter hit a two-run home run off Dave Walker in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.

So far this season, Punter has put up a .429 batting average with 12 hits, 2 home runs and 7 RBIs.
