Los Angeles B Silences Paris B, 6-0 Friday, May 9th , 1952 Dietmar Schmidt kept the Paris B Wreckers hitters from doing much damage at Dallas AA Stadium. Paris B could only muster 7 hits and draw 3 walks against the left-handed Schmidt, who controlled them throughout the game. Los Angeles B won the contest, 6-0. Schmidt added 5 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Schmidt told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time." |
