Season-Ending Injury for Bruyère
Saturday, May 22nd , 1999
The season will end prematurely for Patrick Bruyère, the Seoul A starting pitcher. He suffered a damaged elbow ligament on 05/21/1999, an injury that is serious enough to knock him out of action for the rest of the year. Bruyère was not available for comment.

Fei Parks 3 for 2

2 Silver Knights left fielder Yeow-whye Fei sensed he was going to have a good day at the plate, but he still might have underestimated it a little.
Prior to the start of today's contest with the 10 Nobles, Fei told teammates he was sure he would hit a home run. He did -- three times.
"During batting practice I really had my swing down pat," he recalled. "I felt some thunder in the lumber."
The big day from Fei pushed the Silver Knights past the Nobles, 14-13. To go along with the homers, he collected 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs.
"I was seeing good, feeling good and swinging good," Fei told reporters after the game.
Yeow-whye Fei hit a two-run home run off Agustin Quezada in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Godofredo Ribeira in the 7th, hit a three-run home run off Godofredo Ribeira in the 8th and walked in the 9th.
Currently Fei is batting .319 with 4 home runs, 11 RBIs and 15 runs scored.

5-for-6 Day for Song

At Silver Knights Stadium, left fielder Kap-yong Song led all batters with 5 base hits, but his 10 Nobles still dropped the game, 14-13, to the 2 Silver Knights.
Kap-yong Song hit a two-run home run off Ghidewon Mana in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and flied out in the 10th.
Hitting .357 to date, Song has 3 home runs and 10 RBIs. He has played in 12 games.
