The 23-year-old Hilde got 5 hits in 6 at-bats, helping to down the Spartans. Phil Hilde tripled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
