Big 3-HR Day for Kurosawa Friday, August 1st , 1958 Whatever Kineo Kurosawa ate for breakfast before his game against the Newfoundland R Rottweilers, it gave him some impressive power. The New York R center fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at Rottweilers Park. His home run barrage helped the Bucks defeat the Rottweilers, 16-0. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-6, scored 3 times, drove in 7 and put on a display that history will remember. Kineo Kurosawa struck out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Warren Harrington in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Noah Dewar in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Noah Dewar in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. So far this year, Kurosawa is batting .362 with 7 home runs. |
