Robinson Keeps Hit Streak Alive Saturday, July 23rd , 1955 Joe Robinson went 2-for-3 in the 17-4 Mobile R Skeeters victory over the Iceland R Crocs at Skeeters Grounds. Robinson declined to speak to reporters following the game. He extended his hitting streak to 20 games. Joe Robinson flied out in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a sac fly in the 4th and singled in the 6th. In the 1955 season Robinson is hitting .395 with 4 home runs. |
