Paris R Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Saturday, August 8th , 1953 Paris R Thunderbirds reliever Perry Olthof said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 1953 postseason contention. This is the first time that the Thunderbirds have missed the playoffs. |
