Shin Shackles Gorky Tuesday, July 22nd , 1952 Young-keun Shin kept the Gorky Gales hitters from doing much damage at Ballpark of Nizhny Novgorod. Gorky could only muster 5 hits and draw 1 walk against the left-handed Shin, who controlled them throughout the game. Kharkiv won the contest, 2-0. Shin added 7 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Shin told reporters after the shutout win.
