Budapest Befuddled by Sinan in 4-0 Loss
Tuesday, May 31st , 1955
Sadik Sinan was in command in his outing against the Budapest Brewers. He hurled the Kyiv Mules to a 4-0 shutout victory, yielded 4 hits and chalked up 6 strikeouts and 4 walks.
"A complete-game shutout is fun territory for me," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I had good balance and mechanics and was able to keep the ball down. When I do that, good things happen."
In 8 starts this season, Sinan has recorded a 2-4 record and a 4.68 ERA.
