Volgograd Blanked by Rezunenko, 1-0 Sunday, June 26th , 1955 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Volgograd Owls as starter Daniil Rezunenko shut them out, 1-0, at Ragin Cajuns Park. The Sofia pitcher struck out 6 and walked 3 while allowing 3 hits. "Rezunenko was good but he wasn't flawless," Volgograd manager said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Sofia, but this is on us."
