Prague Comes up Empty Against Habichev Thursday, July 14th , 1955 Volgograd Owls starter Pavlov Habichev really did a number on the Prague Bruins, shutting them out, 14-0, on 3 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 2 walks and had 5 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Prague manager . "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Habichev."
