Pitcher Brings in EBB Top Rookie Trophy Monday, August 1st , 1955 Leo Damir is giving fans of Warsaw a lot to be happy about lately. In July he logged a 3-1 mark on his way to earning Eastern Bloc Baseball Rookie of the Month recognition. The 23-year-old also chalked up 15 strikeouts in 50.2 innings with a 3.38 ERA and issued 21 walks. In 20 starts this year, Damir has fashioned a 9-4 record and a 3.51 ERA. |
