Mirxayan Takes Home EBB Batting Title Thursday, July 30th , 1953 This year's Eastern Bloc Baseball batting champ was Kirill Mirxayan of the Kyiv Mules. His .358 batting average was the best in the league. The Mules star won the honor with 113 hits in 316 at-bats. He also tallied 4 home runs, 48 RBIs and scored 54 runs. |
