Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Kharkiv Ducks as starter Ovidiu Lucescu shut them out, 3-0, at Pelicans Park. The Warsaw pitcher struck out 4 and walked 1 while allowing 9 hits.

"Lucescu was good but he wasn't flawless," Kharkiv manager said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Warsaw, but this is on us."
