Gorky Blanks Warsaw, Oduev Winner
|
Antinko Oduev of the Gorky Gales toyed with the Warsaw Wizards, as he shut them out, 3-0, at Stampede Park. He was almost untouchable, twirling a 2-hitter with 5 strikeouts and no walks.
"I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Oduev said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there."
To date Oduev is 8-5 in 17 starts with a 4.21 ERA and has 51 strikeouts in 119.2 innings.
