Leeuwarden Beats Norden in Championship Round Thursday, June 26th , 1952 It was a joyful day for Leeuwarden as they celebrated a 4-3 victory today over Norden. This was the culmination of the North Sea Baseball League schedule, and the players brought home the Championship Round trophy in style. Manager summed it up best, saying, "This was all about the boys on the team. They worked hard. They came together, and tonight we celebrate together." |
