Top NSBL Pitcher Announced Saturday, June 28th , 1952 Nestor Loshak of the Leeuwarden Bombers had a tremendous season in 1952 and today was named the winner of the league's Best Pitcher -- quite an accomplishment for a relief specialist! He compiled a 0.87 ERA, a 3-1 record and 12 saves. Loshak made 21 relief appearances, tossed 31 innings and totaled 20 strikeouts. He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 8.
