Winkler Befuddles Lisbon A in 1-0 Newfoundland A Win Friday, July 25th , 1958 Brad Winkler was in a mood to talk following the Newfoundland A Akitas contest against the Lisbon A Spirit, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Spirit, 1-0. "There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Winkler said.
