Great Day for Peters -- 5 Hits
Monday, July 28th , 1958
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Paris A's 16-5 win over Newfoundland A, left fielder Baltwin Peters was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Akitas Stadium.

"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Peters said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."

Baltwin Peters hit a two-run home run off Emil Keller in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.

Peters is currently batting .335 with 14 home runs, 33 runs scored and 42 RBIs. His OBP is .408.
