Frost Shuts Out Providence A, 4-0
Sunday, July 31st , 1955
The Providence A Pilgrims manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Paris A Orioles. The Pilgrims were overpowered by Paris A starter Parker Frost, who hurled his club to victory, 4-0.

"It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," said.

Over 9 innings, Frost blanked Providence A on 3 hits with 2 walks and 6 strikeouts.

"I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Frost said.

"I set them up, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one."

This year, Frost has a 10-8 record with a 3.82 ERA.
