Providence A Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Thursday, July 30th , 1953 The Providence A Pilgrims will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 1953 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Providence A was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. The Pilgrims are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team also missed qualifying for the postseason last season. |
