Lisbon A Spirit Clinch First in TOBA Class A Monday, August 3rd , 1953 Matt McGovern of the Lisbon A Spirit said his team has "enormous responsibility" on their shoulders, after having just won the TOBA Class A. "Our organization, our city, our coaches, everyone expects us to win the Round 1," the reliever said. "That's a lot of expectations and a lot of people to ensure you don't let down. We all want it badly enough, but that's some good extra motivation." The Spirit have secured their 1st division crown on the strength of their 45-37 record. Lisbon A will now seek to capture its 1st TOBA Class A championship. |
