Robertson Wins Award for TCA Dominance Sunday, August 14th , 1955 At the young age of only 24, Clive Robertson has been named the TOBA Class A Reliever of the Year Award winner for 1955. The future appears bright for the Providence A Pilgrims relief ace, who captured the award with 9 saves in 36 relief appearances, 50 strikeouts in 46.2 innings and a record of 1-3 to go with his 3.86 ERA. He received 8 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Lida Kovarik of the Los Angeles A Warlords finished second in voting, while Lazar Telacevic of the New York A Big Stick finished third.
