Yin to Hang Up Cleats Monday, August 4th , 1958 Zee-loo Yin, the 23-year-old reliever for the Berlin R Sloth Bears, has decided to retire from baseball. He recently had been receiving medical treatment for a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. The injury not only will end his season, but also his career. "I have no regrets," said Yin. "I gave it all I had." The sport will sorely miss Yin and his contributions. During this season, he has made 6 relief appearances, earning a 0-1 record with no saves. In 16.2 innings Yin has struck out 11 with a 6.48 ERA. |
