The New York R pitcher allowed 8 hits, fanned 5, and walked 3 in blanking Los Angeles R, 4-0. "There were a lot of frustrated guys walking back to the dugout," Los Angeles R manager said. "Not a fun day." Thus far this season, Gardner has posted a 1-3 record, started 5 games, struck out 12 batters in 22.2 innings and compiled a 5.56 ERA. |
