Lechuga Sizzles, Adams Academy Fizzles Tuesday, March 29th , 1955 Montgomery High School Dinos starter Ernesto Lechuga really did a number on the Adams Academy Copperheads, shutting them out, 4-0, on 5 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 3 walks and had 3 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Adams Academy manager . "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Lechuga." |
