St. Agatha High School Shuts Out American International School Behind Koeck, 2-0 Friday, March 28th , 1958 St. Agatha High School Coyotes pitcher August Koeck really got it done at Coyotes Grounds in a 2-0 shutout victory over the American International School Argonauts, shutting them down on 3 hits. "It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Koeck said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them." The 16-year-old issued 3 walks and had 9 strikeouts in the Coyotes win. Koeck has fashioned a 2-3 mark for the season, 5.21 ERA and thrown 48.1 innings in 7 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .317 against him. |
