Seoul High School Takes Round 1 Sunday, April 27th , 1952 The Seoul High School Hammerheads are one step closer to winning a Round 4, and the season came to a close for the Juan Martinez Trade School Klondikes. Seoul High School won the Round 1 4-2, with a 12-3 victory in the deciding game at Team Stadium today. Seoul High School left fielder Ken Forsythe was named the MVP of the series, after hitting .600 with a .667 on-base percentage. He had 1 homers, drove in 2 RBI and scored 1 runs. "I just hope I can keep it up in the Round 2," he said. The Seoul High School Hammerheads don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Bayside High School Sand Gnats - Havana Trade School Attack series. Havana Trade School leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
