Bayhawks Win Round 2 Saturday, May 3rd , 1952 The Alaska Military School Bayhawks are on to the Round 3 after a convincing series win over the Burlington High School Maples. Alaska Military School wrapped up the series sweep with a 8-5 win in the last game, to take the series 4-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Damien Leach, who was named series MVP. For the series, Leach hit .600 with a .600 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Alaska Military School Bayhawks don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Long Beach High School Voyagers - St. Peter's Prep Flyers series. Long Beach High School leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
