Attack Advance to Round 3 Thursday, May 8th , 1952 The sweet swing of Michael Taylor has led his team through the Round 2. The Havana Trade School Attack star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Seoul High School Hammerheads to advance to the Round 3. The Attack won the final game at Attack Stadium by a score of 14-4 and the series 4-3. "I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Taylor. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs." For the series, Taylor hit .500 with a .600 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 1 runs. The Havana Trade School Attack will play against the St. Pierre Prep Golden Gophers in the next round. St. Pierre Prep won their series against the Taipei High School Wingnuts 4 games to 3. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
