Dingos Win International Conference Americas Crown Tuesday, April 26th , 1955 The Southern Melbourne University Dingos stand above the competition in the International Conference Americas and have been crowned champions. "It's a great feeling knowing we're heading to the playoffs in good shape," said shortstop Allen Strong. "Now we can turn our focus to doing what it will take to bring home the championship." The Southern Melbourne University clubhouse was a lively place after the division clinch, as players embraced, sang and chanted into the early hours of the morning. The club currently has a 30-19 record and it's their 2nd division title. The franchise will be looking for a 1st TOBA College championship. |
