Dai Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Tuesday, April 26th , 1955 Gang Dai, right fielder for the Lake Biwa A&M Victory, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 7-0 victory over the University-on-Sea Spitfires at Victory Grounds. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Gang Dai flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. Thus far this year, Dai has hit .353 with 2 home runs and 18 RBIs. |
