Playoff Bound: Rocketmen Win Wild Card Wednesday, April 27th , 1955 The Brest University Rocketmen said an International Conference South championship was the goal, but they are still pleased to have won a wild card position. "You'd rather go in there as the top team, but all that matters is we're in the playoffs," said the club's manager. "Once the postseason starts, everyone's got a chance." Brest University closer Laurent Guy said the members of the team are all incredibly focused on capturing a Championship Series, which would be the club's 1st. "We all want this badly," he said. |
