Andre Wolfeson University Moves on to Division Series Saturday, April 30th , 1955 The Andre Wolfeson University Indians were counting on Brian Rispoli to put forward a strong performance in the Wildcard Series at Ballpark of Team 4. He certainly delivered. With a solid 6 innings, Rispoli earned MVP honors as his team beat the Bismarck State University Bears 4-0 to advance to the Division Series. "I tried to just think of it as any other game," said the Andre Wolfeson University starter. "But if we lose, we go home and I'd be lying if I said that didn't keep crossing my mind. That's motivation, for sure." Rispoli also had 4 strikeouts, while allowing 2 hits, 6 walks and no runs. While he wasn't willing to concede that the Indians are a superior team overall, Bismarck State University manager gave credit to Andre Wolfeson University for putting their best foot forward in a one-game format. "They beat us straight up, that's all there is to it," he said. The Andre Wolfeson University Indians don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the North West Florida University Aligators - Prairie University Golden Gophers series. That series has not started yet. The Division Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
