Indians Advance to League Championship Series Monday, May 2nd , 1955 In what was described by the team's manager as a "thrilling night" for fans of the Andre Wolfeson University Indians, the club has advanced to the League Championship Series, with a 7-2 win over the North West Florida University Aligators at Ballpark of Team 4. "It's a great way to go in to the League Championship Series, with this kind of momentum," added Matthieu Leduc, who went 4-for-5 in the game to earn MVP honors. "We're feeling unbeatable right now." On the other side of the ballpark, North West Florida University players forlornly packed up their belongings and said goodbye to teammates for the offseason. The Andre Wolfeson University Indians will play against the Boise University Wildcats in the next round. Boise University won their series against the Ocean County Institute of Technology Demons. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
