Playoff Win Advances Andre Wolfeson University to Next Round Saturday, May 2nd , 1959 There was no room for error for the Andre Wolfeson University Indians and the Jan Kowalski University Warriors in the Division Series. Win and move on, lose and go home. "We kept telling the guys in the clubhouse that there was no tomorrow," said Indians first baseman Ryan Buchanan, shortly after his team eliminated the Warriors by a 6-4 score to advance to the League Championship Series. "This type of single-elimination game is great for the fans, and thankfully, more so for our fans this time around." Buchanan went 3-for-5 in the game to lead his team to victory and was named the MVP. The Andre Wolfeson University Indians don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Eastern New York University Steelers - Cancun A&M Pumas series. That series has not started yet. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
