Jan Kowalski University Loses Petrini for 7 Months Tuesday, May 5th , 1959 Brian Petrini will have to wait a while longer. The Jan Kowalski University center fielder was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 7 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. The injury has kept him off the field since 05/02/1959. Though Petrini had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." For the year, Petrini has hit .224 with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and scored 20 runs. |
